The German company is an internationally active manufacturer of office furniture and work chairs. They want to outsource some of their activities and are looking for manufacturers of wooden parts, steel parts as well as upholstery components. Potential partners should be able to provide the company with high-quality products and services in the frame of a subcontracting agreement.
The company, based in the southwest of Germany, is an innovative designer and manufacturer of office seating for customers around the world. They are a family business and have been growing through their own efforts since 1980. They manufacture high-value work chairs and office furniture. Most of their products hold several certificates such as BIFMA, BS 5459-2:2000+A2:2008, GS (=Guaranteed Safety) and many more. The company attaches particular importance to the ergonomic design of its collections. The manufacturer has already won many prestigious design awards, such as the Red Dot Award or the German Design Award. For many years it has been successfully working together with renowned scientists and doctors on suitable concepts.
They are looking for subcontractors in Central and Eastern Europe who would prefabricate parts needed for the final assembly of the furniture in Germany. This would be upholstery work as well as the manufacturing of wood carcasses and chair frames. The German company would deliver technical drawings in standard CAD file formats. The quantity of pieces will be negotiated in the course of the cooperation.
